Life Will Be To You What You Are To It

"Remember the most significant gift life gives to you…is you. Life will be (to you) what you are to it. You are a spiritual being designed by God, who has placed you at this time in history because you have something that the world needs right now."
Revered (Dr.) Cynthia Ramirez Lindenmeyer, Omaha World-Herald, Sunday, April 3, 2022.

Spiritual evolution requires courage to transform. Consider the tremendous advancements in technology over the past fifty-four years. Could anyone living in 1968 conceive of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or 5G? And yet, religion seems stuck in rigid primitive consciousness. How long will humanity hold on to the myth that God is some remote AARP guy judging us as if our decisions have "one and done" consequences like an NCAA tournament bracket on the road to Eternal Life?
Rather than living as if God exists far, far away in a distant solar system, what if we engage in the adventure of life as if the presence of God thrives in every human consciousness?
On March 31st, 1968, a prophetic preacher challenged the people overflowing the pews of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. He proclaimed an understanding and need for spiritual evolution, stating, "There comes a time when one must take the position that is neither safe nor politic nor popular, but he must do it because conscience tells him it is right."
The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s final Sunday sermon, titled "Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution," reveals his spiritual evolution and calls us to remember the most significant gift life gives to you…is you. Life will be (to you) what you are to it. You are a spiritual being designed by God, who has placed you at this time in history because you have something that the world needs right now. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. awakened to this truth. Now it's your time of discovery to bust whatever bracket holds you back and be the champion you are designed to be!"
