Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life

Reverend (Dr.) Cynthia Ramirez Lindenmeyer

Like a grass-chalked line where runners gather to commence their goal to reach a destination, January offers a starting point. In the spirit of January’s namesake, the Roman god Janus, the door to enter a new threshold of transformation opens.

Inventors persevere, entering numerous doors of possibility for blueprints to become reality; artists hone their skills to shape on a canvas what their heart yearns to express. You are a spiritual being living in human form, free to experience love and joy, but trapped by limiting beliefs that your value is defined by the size, gender, and age of your body; held back from your potential, thinking a resume and job title encompasses your identity. But you are God’s great invention and creative portrait. All your significance comes from who you are on the inside, not what is visible.

Much in life we cannot change, but we can change how we feel about something (or someone), which will affect the outcome. Past ways do not open new doors. Changing your thinking will immediately unlock fresh perspectives and change the trajectory of your life. This year, instead of gathering at the typical resolution rat race, set your intention to follow the journey only you were designed to live. An example intention may be:

“Today’s energy is filled with endless possibilities. I look confidently into the New Year. Everything in my human experience is renewed. I welcome new blessings, new opportunities, knowing new thinking awakens my Divine invention and creation. I am connected to my divine path of transformation. And so it is.”

Wishing you a blessed journey into the New Year.  Ready, set, go!
